Happy Holidays from Gibbs Interwire!
I received my Christmas present early this year. I always thought a combination of Gibbs Interwire and Interwire made sense. Fortunately, I work for and with a very bright creative group that saw the same thing I did. We were also truly fortunate to work with Debbie Cardile, CEO and President of Interwire, who also shared our vision. Thanks to the hard work of many people, we were able to combine those two great companies into the new Gibbs Interwire.
We want Gibbs Interwire to be a company that you are proud to call your strategic partner. We will collaborate closely with you to build a relationship that is focused on performance. That means getting you the best material at the best price and on time. It means collaborating closely with you on inventory levels. (Currently, there are challenges with meeting those goals. We think delivery issues will improve by the second quarter of 2022.) We have the resources, mill relationships, and personnel to fulfill our portion of the supply chain at a world class level.
But there is a second aspect to our working relationship that is also particularly important to us. In addition to performance, we want to make sure that the new Gibbs Interwire demonstrates the importance of integrity in all that we do for you. We want to build a company that you can look at as your strategic partner with considerable pride because we constantly demonstrate that we care about you and your company. We will take a long term view with each account. That is especially important to us as we work to be your strategic partner and have you become a Raving Fan of Gibbs Interwire.
We know that 2021 brought challenges. Is this the new normal? Is every year going to bring major challenge, whether it is a tariff, pandemic, supply and logistics problem, or inflation? We do not know. All we know is that we all must remain flexible and ready for the next challenge. We hope that you and your employees were able to have a successful year despite the challenges.
