Metals for Chimney Liner and Flexible Ducts
304, 304L, 316, 316L, and 316Ti® stainless steel strip is used by manufacturers to produce flexible ducts and chimney liners. The stainless steel strip is manufactured into a spirally formed flexible tube for their branded exhaust ductwork. The tube is used to exhaust gasses at elevated temperatures for chimneys, fireplaces, pellet stoves, and more.
Alloys are selected based on operating temperatures and environmental requirements, as dictated by, the end use of the liner.
Our stainless steel slit coil is supplied to each customer’s manufacturing and packaging specifications. Gibbs Interwire sources stainless steel from only the highest quality mills both domestically, and internationally, for a superior chimney liner tube.
